Hello everyone,
On 16 December 2025, a group of ITTI students took part in an educational field visit to the airport as part of their practical training. The trip was designed to reinforce classroom learning through real-world observation and assessment of core aviation ground operations.
During the visit, students were assessed across key operational areas that are essential to safe, compliant, and customer-focused airport service delivery. The exercise allowed students to observe procedures in action, understand industry expectations, and connect theory with professional practice.
Please note that an assessment has been conducted after all activities.
The assessment covered the following learning modules:
- Special Assistance Passengers & Persons with Disabilities – support procedures, safety, and service standards reviewed.
- Flight Disruptions – handling, communication, and coordination during delays/cancellations assessed.
- Arrival Functions/Procedures – passenger processing, coordination, and compliance checked.
- Handling of Live Animals – safety, care, and regulatory procedures evaluated.
